We are Chuck and Amy McKinney, proud Gold Canyon locals and the owners of Superstition Turf Care.

Living in Arizona, we know how quickly artificial turf can become dusty, flattened, dirty, and filled with pet odors — especially with kids, pets, and everyday use. After seeing how many homeowners struggled to keep their turf looking and smelling fresh, we decided to create a local service focused on bringing lawns back to life without the huge cost of replacement.

Best for: Dog owners dealing with urine odors

Our professional enzyme treatment targets pet urine at the source by breaking down odor-causing organic compounds trapped deep within the turf and infill. Unlike air fresheners that simply mask smells, enzymes help eliminate the source of the odor for a fresher, cleaner yard. Particularly beneficial during Arizona's hot summer months when pet odors become more noticeable. Best if done when yard is shaded or evening time.

2. Spray yard with Peroxide-Based Sanitizing Treatment – $39 (base price up to 500 sq ft)

Best for: Families wanting a cleaner, more sanitary yard.

Our peroxide-based treatment helps sanitize turf by reducing bacteria, germs, and organic buildup while also helping eliminate odors. This treatment is safe for synthetic turf and leaves the area feeling cleaner and refreshed without harsh chemical residues. Great for homes with pets, children, and high-traffic areas.

3. Standard Infill Refresh - $49 (base price up to 500 sq ft)

Best for: Flattened or aging turf.

Over time, infill settles and turf fibers begin to lay down. A standard infill refresh helps support the blades, improve appearance, reduce matting, and extend the life of your artificial grass. Recommended every few years or whenever turf begins looking worn or flattened.

4. Premium Pet Infill Refresh – $59 (base price up to 500 sq ft)

Best for: Turf that has lost cushioning or struggles with pet odors.

Pet-grade infill helps support turf fibers while improving drainage and odor control. Adding fresh infill can restore a more natural appearance, improve comfort underfoot, and help reduce odor retention in pet areas. Recommended for heavily used pet yards and older turf installations.
